Skorpion DSL F3F racing 2.9m glider. Until recently still in the top times in competition but despite that speed it’s really easy to fly and land.
I’ve had it maybe 15 years and still love it but I’ve got much more expensive F3F gliders now that I feel duty bound to fly!
About 10 years ago I damaged a wing but it has been professionally repaired and sprayed so you wouldn’t be able to tell except it’s slightly “pre-ballasted”! You won’t be able the break the wing in the air – has regularly done square loops etc in my ownership since repair. Also comes with brass ballast for those very windy days and becomes a rocket ship. Also comes with extra wing joiner with more dihedral.
Nose cone area is a bit scruffy but a rub down and spray would sort that out easily.
Can be seen flying at Thurnham in Kent or South Downs.
