Mick Reeves Sopwith Camel,at 1/4 scale, built by a clubmate. Re-engined and repainted by me with a magneto Zenoah 38 which starts easily, and using two 3300mAh Nimh batteries for nose weight, with no extra weight needed. It has a Futaba receiver, SM battery backer, and Hitec servos. I have flown the model many times, and it flies nicely as it is very lightly loaded. It needs a gentle headwind for safe take-off and landing. It looks beautiful in the air but takes a good 30 minutes to put together with all four wing panels removeable. It fits in my extate car with the wheels removed. It needs a bit of a tidy up to remedy bruised wingtips and rudder. Flown within the last week.
