I’m selling this model on behalf of our flying club chairman’s widow. I think this is a scratch-built or vintage plan-built scale replica of a Klemm Kl 25—a famous 1920s/30s German light sport and training aircraft.

It is a beautiful, traditional scale build featuring the distinctive low-wing cantilever design, an elongated polygonal fuselage, a classic open cockpit, and a custom-molded green cowling.

Aircraft Structural & Build Analysis
Airframe & Markings: A classic balsa and plywood sheeted fuselage covered in solid yellow film, accented by green wingtips and tail surfaces. The tail boom is hand-marked with a vintage “N-M” registration.

Wing Attachment Setup: The massive yellow main wing panel features a recessed center section that saddles flush into the bottom fuselage belly. It is designed to be secured firmly using a traditional two-bolt nylon screw system, with the mounting holes clearly visible in the wing cutout. the wingspan is approx. 190cm, and the fuselage is approx. 140cm long.

Electronics Bay: The open cockpit panel removes to reveal a spacious interior electronics bay. It features pre-cut standard servo tray cutouts, a custom wooden battery containment box.

Landing gear: the landing gear features shock absorbers to accommodate uneven ground (or for those less than perfect landing!)

Engine Configuration & Specs
The Powerplant: The nose houses an ASP 70 4-stroke engine. The engine turns over freely, with good compression and the needle value is not seized.
Exhaust Design: It is configured with an overhead exhaust collector manifold pipe that routes out under the top cowl, channeling spent glow fuel away from the balsa body.
Propeller: Fitted with a high-strength, painted Master Airscrew sport propeller, perfect for handling the high torque output of a multi-cylinder four-stroke setup.
