Probably my favourite classic aerobatic model the Chevron Mk2 based on Ray Browns design from approx 1970.
Nothing looks like a Chevvie on the ground nor in the air. With its long tail moment arm it doesn’t get bumped when the wind gets up. I absolutely love the Chevron. I once read a thread on Chevron whereby a contributor stated ‘They weren’t that special and never did anything in competition to speak of’ What the numbskull failed to appreciate…..
1,Its a quick build kit
2, The best comp flyers of the period ALWAYS flew their own designs. Thanks to PB and Cloud Models these are produced approximately once in a blue moon and haven’t been for ages. I wholeheartedly recommend you treat yourself to a distinctively different fabulous flying classic aerobat
