If you’re building Legionaire Puppeteer or Magnattila and installing a four stroke you really want one of these. Even if you position your engine between T mounts as far back as possible the engine will stick out too far. Prop to cowling dimension will look a bit ridiculous and spoil the models look and after all that building and covering too🤷 It is possible to modify the kit design but having done this myself several ways it is frankly not worth the effort. In addition the long cowling has a more realistic finish than the original polished item.
