Ripmax Nova rc high wing trainer with Sc40.
This is a great introductory high wing trainer with a 65” wingspan.
This model was built a few years ago and fitted with a new Sc 40 two stroke motor and used as a static display piece in a local leisure facility.
It’s never had any electronics fitted and as far as I can see, the engine although tarnished with age has never been started.
The piston is shiny, it’s very smooth to turn over with very good compression and the carb is nice and free!
Has a steerable nose wheel and new fuel tank thats never been fitted.
The fuselage is solid and made from balsa and light ply.
The wings are built up balsa with ailerons.
I bought this model on a whim a while back with the intention of stripping it and recovering it in red, white and blue film as the original yellow covering is a little tatty here and there.
I’ve got other things going on so won’t get around to doing it anytime soon so here it is for sale.
You could just spend an hour or two with the iron to make it a bit more presentable and use it as a cheap little trainer as is.
There is no damage to the model and no holes, tears or rips in the covering.
The tail feathers are all solid.
All in all, this is a good little model that could be ready to fly with a few evenings work or even a really nice model if you have the time and interest to invest in it.
